It seems the coordinator of these plays have favorites and alienate the other kids who may not be as "good". But my thing is that our kids who may not be the actors or singers of the school are not given the chance to truly show their talent. My daughter says the same thing...Oh Mom, they will pick the same kids, so why try...it really is the person over the play that makes the decisions and therefore needs to be educated on including all kids.
