State of Momhood

November
30

According to a new report by the Marketing to Moms Coalition, the State of the American Mom shows a shift in perception among working moms vs. stay at home moms. Surprisingly, more working mothers say they attend their child’s school and extracurricular events than mothers who do not work outside the home.

Also of note: African American mothers are the highest cell phone users in the group—relying on technology to talk to their children more frequently during the day.

The bottom line: we moms are a powerful consumer group.

Hi, everyone I found lo hud moms on line, it just so happens that I saw a very small ad in the sunday paper that previewed an upcoming article on how to host a better playdate. When I missed out on the Monday paper I tried to archive it- to my delight the article was on the home page and also informed me about LOHUDMOMS- can I say how happy and relieved I am to find a place just for us girls? I am a full time Teacher’s Assistant working on my degree to teach, my husband and I are researching a business we want to start and the best part is we have six children ages 11 months to 18 years old so you can imagine how wonderful it is to find a site that doesn’t mind talking about the kids, family and husband all day. This is great.
